Design
Sturdy, welded steel construction for smooth running and precise accuracy when machining the workpieces.
Linear guides X, Y and Z axis 25 mm, ground and surface-hardened.
Closed linear guide system, linear guides and guide carriages from Bosch Rexroth.
Ball screws in all axes, driven nut in the X and Y axis (up to 4 m travel in the X axis).
Precision racks in the X axis (from 4 m travel).
Travels X up to 6000 mm (Y up to 750 mm).
Milling machine specially tuned for profile and bar machining, open on three sides: easy handling of the workpieces.
Optional: gantry riser in the Z axis 450 mm, T-slot plate 15 or 20 mm, vacuum table, rotary axis/swivel head (5-axis machining), automatic tool changer.
Control & drive
Drive supplied as servo as standard; optionally selectable as closed-loop or servo control.
Optional servo motor 750 W / 7.16 Nm.
Work-area limit switches implemented in software.

What is the BZT PFS series?
Open design, side loading and short setup times – optimised for profile and bar machining. The CNC milling machines of the PFS series are specially tuned CNC machining centres for profile machining. The open design ensures a high level of operating comfort; side loading results in short setup times and an efficient workflow – especially with long workpieces. The sturdy, welded steel construction promotes smooth running and precise accuracy. With ball screws in all axes and driven nuts in the X and Y axis, excellent surfaces are achieved during milling.
