Design
High-quality components from renowned manufacturers, such as the pneumatics from Festo or the installed linear guides from Bosch Rexroth, ensure excellent milling results.
Precision ball screws in all axes of the milling machine ensure high repeatability.
All ball screws are mounted on at least 3 bearings: one fixed bearing (2 ball bearings) and one floating bearing (1 ball bearing); BZT does not use the bearing of the stepper motor as a fixed bearing.
Linear guides with hardened steel shafts (Bosch Rexroth).
Special feature of the PFJ: movable clamping table – the Z axis is the machine table.
Thanks to its compact design, the gantry milling machine is very space-saving.
A wide range of applications can be optimised with the optional accessories, such as a vacuum table, tool length sensor or signal light.
Possible materials that can be machined in 2D or 3D: acrylic glass, plastics, foams, aluminium, gold, silver and laminated wood.
NOTE: During the milling process, some materials, e.g. aluminium, require cooling.
Control & drive
Stepper motor and output stage with 4.2 A / 3.3 Nm per axis, alternatively closed-loop stepper motor possible (optional).
Modular stepper motor control allows quick conversion of various expansion levels (optional).
The integration of the optionally selectable control with stepper or closed loop makes this milling machine versatile and expandable.
Traverse speed in rapid traverse: 6000 – 8000 mm/min.
