Design

The robust steel frame construction provides high rigidity and enables precise results in milling, engraving and prototype manufacturing.

Fine and accurate machining of the workpieces is guaranteed by the Bosch Rexroth linear guides fitted in all axes and by the ball screws.

Large precision ball screw in the X and Y axis with 16 × 10 mm and in the Z axis with 16 × 5 mm.

Covered guides in the Y axis protect sensitive components from contamination.

This makes the PFK CNC milling machine particularly suitable for machining small workpieces such as jewellery.

The wide range of accessories such as gantry riser, T-slot plates (15 or 20 mm thickness), vacuum table gives the CNC milling machine a large field of application in professional use.

Control & drive

Stepper motor and output stage with 4.2 A / 3.3 Nm or 6 A / 5 Nm per axis, alternatively closed-loop stepper motor or servo motor possible (optional).

Precision reference switch, mechanical, switching accuracy maximum 0.02 mm.

Control with 2 × 230 V switching outputs (optional).

What is the BZT PFK series?

The compact milling machines of the PFK series were developed for semi-professional as well as industrial users – specially for milling, engraving and prototype manufacturing. Thanks to the compact design, the gantry milling machine is also suitable where space is limited. The stable steel frame construction ensures low-vibration operation; in addition, the ball screw fitted centrally beneath the machining table in the Y axis supports travel without binding. The high rigidity enables precise results in mould and model making as well as for engravings in 2D and 3D. Optional accessories such as gantry riser, T-slot plates, vacuum table and enclosure extend the field of application. High-quality components (including Bosch Rexroth linear guides and ball screws in all axes) support fine machining – especially with small workpieces such as jewellery. Thanks to the backlash-free shaft coupling, no motor vibrations are transmitted to the ball screws – this has a positive effect on the milling result.
